 What are the payment steps for a building project with Australian Innovate? When and what do I need to pay?

  • Quote and Estimate: During the quote process, we provide you with a breakdown of the supply and installation costs for the different styles you're interested in. We also estimate the council fees and certification costs, which can vary depending on the location and any unforeseen issues that arise during the building process.
  • First Payment: The first payment is the invoice from the private certifier for the permits. We provide this invoice directly to you and do not charge any additional fees on top. You will need to pay the certifier directly.
  • Second Payment: The second payment is 45% of the supply and installation price, which becomes payable upon material delivery.
  • Final Payment: The third and final payment is the remaining balance upon completion of the build. 

 

  • Note that we strive to give you as accurate an estimate as possible, but unanticipated issues may arise during the building process that can affect the final cost. We will keep you informed every step of the way and offer to get a quote from the certifier before you proceed.

What are the steps involved in completing a building project with Australian Innovate?

our process involves the following steps:

Quote and Site Visit: During the initial visit, we discuss the various building options and provide you with a base price and budget prices.

Agreement and Check Measure: Once you've decided on a structure, we create an agreement and conduct a check measure to ensure that everything is in order.

Certification and Permits, and First Payment: If you choose to engage us for lodging council approval and certification, we'll handle all the paperwork and provide you with an invoice from our private certifier.

Ordering of Materials and Drop-Off: We order the materials and book a delivery date once we receive council approval. We'll also confirm the colors with you at this stage.

Installation: We'll schedule an installation date, and if any issues arise, we'll contact you to work out a solution.

Completion and Additional Works for Other Trades: Once the building is completed, you can book an electrician and plumber to connect any necessary electrical and plumbing components. 

What materials are used for carport patios and decking?

With our carport and patio range, can be made from a variety of materials, including wood, aluminum, steel, and composite materials. The choice of material will depend on factors such as durability, maintenance requirements, and budget.

How long does it typically take to build a carport, patio or deck?

The timeline for building a carport patio or deck will depend on the size and complexity of the structure, as well as factors such as weather and availability of materials. However, most projects can be completed within a few weeks to a few months.

Here are the steps from signing the agreement between you and Australian Innovate.

  1. if you let us do the Permits, Certification, Council this is for you. this step can take the longest anywhere from 1 up to 2 months, depending on if its a standard approval, or Relaxation is required or build over sewage or utility lines. on the initial quote we will try to give you the best time frame possible but council time frame do change, their is an option to get a fast track approval for additional cost for when you need it urgent.
  2. ordering of materials, once we get acceptance from council we will place order the materials this can take from 2 - 5 weeks for patio and carports. depending on complexity and colors.
  3. build date is done within 14 days from delivery date, we try to do the builds 1 - 3 days from delivery date this is our standard pratice.

What kind of maintenance is required for carport patios and decks?

  • to keep manufactured warranty you are required to maintain your roof a 6 monthly basis, A household ammonia or mild biodegradable cleaning solutions will assist the cleaning process. Australian Innovate recommends to following levels. One cup of mild detergent or similar non-toxic biodegradable cleaners, containing less than 0.5% phosphate, dissolved into 7.5lt of warm water. NOTE: The use of detergents containing greater than 0.5% phosphate is not recommended. WARNING: DO NOT BLEND CLEANSERS OR DETERGENTS WITH BLEACH.  One cup of household ammonia dissolved into 19 litres of water. Always start cleaning the underside before moving onto the topside, once cleaned ensure you give it a good wash down with fresh water.
